Day-1 | NEW DELHI TO GUWAHATI TO SHILLONG ( 3 HOUR FLIGHT & 3 HOUR DRIVE )

Upon arrival at the Guwahati airport, you will proceed to Shillong in a private vehicle, enjoying the beauty of the nature and hillside view. Post check-in to your Shillong hotel and lunch, you can relax and enjoy the evening in the calm and serene environment, going for a walk at the local markets and relish on the authentic dishes of Meghalaya.

Day-2 | SHILLONG TO CHERRAPUNJI & RETURN ( 2 HOUR DRIVE EACH WAY )

After breakfast, you will set out to visit the mesmerising Cherrapunji, also called as the ‘Jewel crest of Meghalaya’. This concealed hill station has a large number of natural caves and high waterfalls and it also used to be one of the rainiest cities in the world. You shall also visit the Seven Sister Fall, Nahkhalikai Falls, Mwasmai Cave and Koh Ram Hoh – eco park. After having a pleasant day in Cherrapunji, you will return to Shillong in the evening.

Day-3 | SHILLONG SIGHTSEEING

Post breakfast at the hotel, you will begin the local sightseeing in Shillong. First, you shall visit the captivating Ward’s Lake; a manmade reservoir encircled by green hills and nature. Enjoy a boat ride in the serene lake, engage in the thrilling water sports and you can even do fishing in this enormous lake. Visit the Botanical garden with different varieties of plants. You can also visit the Lady Hydari Park, a Japanese styled landscaped park.  Post lunch, you will visit the Don Bosco museum of Indigenous Cultures; a complete blend of culture, heritage and history of the Tribals. If time permits, you can also visit the Elephant falls, a multi- tiered waterfall. These curved falls provide a scenic beauty and green vegetation around it. You can also visit the Shillong Peak, which offers a bird eye view of the city. Later in the evening, you will visit the populated LewDuh, Bara bazaar (public market) to do some local shopping.

Enjoy a traditional Meghalayan dinner.

Day-4 | SHILLONG TO MAWLYNNONG & RETURN ( 3 HOUR DRIVE EACH WAY )

After an early breakfast, you shall proceed to Mawlynnong, known to be the cleanest village in Asia. Mawlynnong is also called as God’s own Garden, because of its picturesque beauty and landscape. You will visit the living root bridge, formed by the roots of 500 year old trees. You shall even visit one of the most breathtaking waterfalls of Meghalaya, the Mawlynnong Falls. The village also has a natural balancing rock, a boulder balancing on another rock. You shall also visit the Dawki border. Revive yourself in the freshness of its magical water and the scenic beauty of the hills and nature. You will return to Shillong in the evening.

Day-5 | SHILLONG TO GUWAHATI TO DELHI (3 HOUR DRIVE & 3 HOUR FLIGHT)

After a relaxing and refreshing stay in Shillong, you will proceed to Guwahati. You will be escorted to the Guwahati airport for your return journey.
