GOA is an Indian state in the coastal region of western India. It is India’s smallest state by area and richest state in terms of the GDP. It is a former Portuguese province.

It is known for the mouth-watering seafood delicacies, stunning nightlife and beach parties. Candolim beach is another famous beach known for its scrubbed sand dunes. Calangute beach is known for its authentic sea-food, Sinquerim beach is known for its water sports, Vagator beach is known for its cleanliness. Anjuna beach, Arambol beach and Morjim Beach are some of the other famous beaches amongst others. The state is famous for its seafood and their meal is considered incomplete without fish. The staple food being rice and fish, other seafood delicacies include pomfret, shark, tuna, and mackerel. Goan prawn curry happens to be a popular dish throughout the state amongst other delicacies.

Best time to visit

Anytime is good for visiting GOA however the best time is between November to February when the weather is pleasantly cool and comfortable.
